Description
Highfield is a house from the late 18th century that has been altered. It features a slate-hung rubble slate exterior and a synthetic slate roof. The building has a two-unit plan with an integral outshut at the rear, covered by a catslide roof. It is two storeys tall with an attic and has a regular three-window front. There are two dormers with sash windows, and the other windows are also sash with glazing bars. The entrance includes a six-panelled door with a hood supported by shaped brackets. Inside, there are some original features along with later fire-surrounds. In front of the house, there is a shillet wall that contains three simple bee-boles.
