Description

This farmbuilding, likely a stable, is situated about 3 metres northeast of Muckford Farmhouse. It probably dates from the early to mid-19th century and was built around the same time as the farmhouse. The structure is made of stone rubble and has a corrugated iron roof that is half-hipped at both ends, although it was originally thatched. The building has a small rectangular shape and is aligned parallel to the farmhouse. The exterior features a symmetrical three-bay front with a central door, flanked by a window on each side, and a loft door in the middle. The interior has not been inspected. This building holds group value with Muckford Farmhouse.
