Description
The well, retaining walls, and well house located west of Laston House date from the early 19th century. Constructed from slate rubble, the well house features concrete pantiles. It is designed in the Gothick style, showcasing a pointed window on the gable wall that faces the driveway and a pointed arch doorway on the side elevation. Surrounding the water reserve are low rubble retaining walls. This functional structure has been enhanced to serve as an attractive feature in the garden.
