Description

This gravestone, located approximately 12 metres south of the south-west corner of the west tower of the Church of St Mary, dates from the late 17th century. It is made of stone and features a shaped head with a skull at the top. The inscription reads: "This lonsom cell wherein I do remain Shall yield me up to perfect gain My coffines my house my bed the grave A little narrow room is all I crave."
