Description
This building is a barn with an attached horse-engine house, located approximately 20 metres west of Netherwill Farmhouse. It dates from the 18th century and is constructed from unrendered random stone rubble, topped with a bitumenized half-hipped slate roof. The barn has a symmetrical plan featuring central opposing cart entrances. The entrance at the front includes a stone rubble porch with a corrugated asbestos canopy. The polygonal horse-engine house is attached at a right angle to the front left of the porch. Originally open on all four sides, three of the openings of the roundhouse have been infilled with casement windows. Inside the barn, there is a king-post roof structure.
