Description
The stables, now used as a grain store, date from the early to mid-19th century and are located approximately 15 metres south-east of Eastacombe Farmhouse. They are constructed from rubble with brick lintels and jambs around the openings, topped by a hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys, with a single-storey open-fronted extension at the left end, which also has a hipped slate roof. At the rear, there is an outshut with a corrugated roof. Each floor features a central doorway with a plank door and flanking square openings. A section of the original manger remains on the upper level. The stables are included for their group value with Eastacombe Farmhouse.
