Description
Manor Cottage is a house that likely has origins from the 17th century but was completely remodeled in the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and cob, with a roof covered in 20th-century Roman tiles. There is a brick stack at the right gable end. The original layout was T-shaped, featuring a short gable-ended stair turret at the rear, with an outshut added in the left angle of the T-shape. The facade is symmetrical and has two storeys. It features a three-window range of sashes, with six panes over six panes, and two larger sashes, each with six panes over six panes, positioned on either side of a round-arched doorway that has a plain fanlight and a 20th-century door. The internal joinery from the 20th century is mostly intact.
