Range Of Outbuildings Circa 5 Metres North Of Chittlehamholt Manor

This range of outbuildings, located about 5 metres north of Chittlehamholt Manor, includes a stickroom, engine-house, store-sheds, and shippon. The buildings are made of unrendered stone rubble and feature slate roofs with gable ends, adorned with distinctive ridge tiles that have a twin horseshoe pattern. There is a brick stack with oversailing brick courses at the left end of the right-hand building.

The range consists of three adjoining buildings arranged in a line, positioned on a slope with decreasing roof heights towards the lower right-hand end. The lofted shippon is at the upper left end, facing the rear yard. The two single-storey buildings to the right are each divided into two rooms. The upper building is used as store-sheds and may have originally been a cider-house, while the lower building includes a formerly heated room that later became an engine-house on the left and a stickroom on the right.

The shippon has a loft door on the gable ends and four doorways with cambered stone arches on the farm courtyard side, along with two ventilation slits at the rear. The middle building features two plank doors, and the rightmost building has two plank doors and a three-light window.
