Description
The single-storey outbuildings located 7.0 metres north of Manor House are now used for storage and date from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble that has been painted white and feature a pantiled roof. The building has brick and stone chimney stacks and consists of a long range divided into four sections. From left to right, these sections include a cart shed with a pair of boarded doors set in an elliptical archway, a smithy with a Dutch door and a boarded opening, a coal shed with two boarded doors, and a wash-house with a boarded door and a 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash window. The continuous roof has raised verges, and there is a rebuilt brick ridge stack on the left, a central stone stack with a top band, and a truncated stone stack at the right end. The smithy retains its stone forge and bellows. These outbuildings are included for their group value.
