Description

The Draper headstone with an accompanying footstone is located approximately 12 metres southeast of the southeast corner of the chancel of the Church of St Peter ad Vincula in Combe Martin. This memorial dates from the early 19th century and is made of slate. The headstone features shaped heads and includes a bust of an angel at the top. It bears an inscription for Philip Draper, who died in 1826, along with other family members. The footstone has an urn at the top and displays a verse. The two stones are positioned back-to-back.
