Description
A slate slab from 1776 is located approximately 2 metres south-west of the south porch of the Church of St Paul in Filleigh. The slab features decorative motifs along its borders, with skulls at the base. It bears an inscription dedicated to Ambrose Gould of Garramarsch, a yeoman who died in 1754, and his wife. The slab also commemorates Thomasza, the wife of Thomas Martin, who died in 1776.
