Description
The Arscott headstone, located approximately 0.1 meters south of the chancel of the Church of St Andrew, dates from around 1828. It commemorates William and Mary Arscott. Made of slate, this upright slab stands about 1.4 meters high and features an elegantly shaped head. The inscription is in Roman serif capitals, detailing the death of William Arscott in 1828 and his wife Mary in 1825.
