Description
Teignholt Cottage is a cottage built in the mid to late 19th century. It features plastered cob on rubble footings, with a rubble or brick stack topped with brick, and a thatched roof. The cottage has a two-room layout facing northwest, away from the road, and includes a central axial stack that serves back-to-back fireplaces. It is two-storeys high with lofts and has a two-window front made up of late 19th century and 20th century casements, some of which have glazing bars. The central door is accompanied by a 20th century porch and a water closet. The roof is gabled on the left side and half-hipped on the right. There is an unglazed loft ventilator at the right end and a horizontal-sliding sash window at the rear facing the road. Inside, the cottage features plain carpentry details.
