Description

This tomb chest, located 11 metres south-west of the Parish Church in Cullompton, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of stone and features an attractive design with two fielded panels on each side and one on each end. The chest has a moulded slab and base, and part of its brick foundation is visible. The inscription and date on the tomb chest have been worn away and are no longer legible.
