Description

This tomb chest, located 3 metres south of the south aisle of the Parish Church in Cullompton, is likely from the 1670s, although the inscription is mostly worn away. It is made of stone and features two shield panels and one plain panel on each side, with one plain panel on the east end and the other end also appearing plain. The chest is topped with an oversized slab that has a concave chamfer.
