Description

This is a 17th-century headstone located approximately 9 meters south of the nave of the Church of St Andrew in Colebrooke. It commemorates Mary Hood and is made of granite. The headstone is an upright slab with a roughly shaped segmental head, standing about 0.35 meters high. It features inscriptions in upper and lower case letters, noting the death of Mary, the wife of William Hood, although the date of her death is not visible.
