Description

This is a late 18th-century house, now partly used as a bank. It is located on the south side of High Street, Crediton. The house is constructed of Flemish bond brick with a slate roof and features a brick stack on the right end. The original plan was a double-depth layout. The front elevation is symmetrical, with two bays. The first floor has two 12-pane sash windows, and the second floor has two 3/6-pane sash windows. The ground floor has been altered and clad in local polished limestone for its use as a bank. The building is included on the register for its group value.
