Description

ST 11 SW HEMYOCK WESTOWN 5/69 Barn 20 metres north of - Westown Farmhouse - II Barn. Possibly C17. High plinth of random rubble flint with cob above; gable-end corrugated iron roof. Weatherboarded gable walls; some breezeblock patching. 3 jointed cruck trusses rising from the ground with notched halved collars, halved and pegged at apex. The great first floor beams project through the side walls.
