Description

This barn, located 25 meters southeast of West Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame, featuring wattle and daub panels, weatherboarding, corrugated iron, and breeze block infill. The roof is made of corrugated iron and rests on a brick plinth. Inside, there are wattle and daub partitions, and most of the studding remains, with bracing visible in the interior. The roof structure includes tie beams supported by arched braces, with two tiers of staggered butt purlins and collars.
