Description
Quick's Hill Cottage is a mid-19th century cottage located in Morchard Bishop. It is constructed from plastered cob on a rubble base, featuring a rubble stack topped with brick and a thatched roof. The cottage has a two-room plan and faces southeast, with a large lateral stack projecting from the rear of the right (northeast) room. It is two storeys high and has a symmetrical front with two windows, which are modern iron-framed casements. The original central porch has a segmental arch and a gabled thatched roof. There is a single central window on the first floor, which is a half dormer with a high thatched gabled roof above it. Additional first floor windows are located in the gable ends. The interior has plain carpentry details, but the roof has not been inspected.
