Description
Northcott is a house that was originally two cottages, built in the 18th and 19th centuries. It features a combination of plastered cob and rubble construction, with stone rubble stacks topped by 19th-century brick. The roof is partly thatched and partly covered with corrugated asbestos, which has replaced the original thatch. The building is two storeys high and has an overall three-window front, with late 19th-century and 20th-century casements, most of which have glazing bars. The left former cottage has a door located to the right of the centre, and there is a window at the right end that blocks a former doorway. The gable-ended roof slopes down from the right cottage to the left. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
