Description
Dulings is a small house built in the early 19th century. It features a mix of plastered cob and rubble construction, with a rubble stack topped by a brick chimney shaft and a slate roof. The house is narrow and two rooms deep, positioned end on to the road and facing south. There is a lateral stack on the right (east) side.
The front of the house is well-balanced, with a front door to the left and a twelve-pane sash window above it. To the right, there are two sixteen-pane sash windows, all of which lack horns. The six-panel front door is set in a panelled reveal and has an overlight with glazing bars.
A late 19th to early 20th century gabled porch, which has a slate roof, shaped bargeboards, a finial, and a pendant, is attached to the front. The house also features a flat eaves cornice, shaped brackets, and a hipped low-pitch roof. On the right side of the front, a plastered cob wall with a pitched slate roof curves forward to enclose the front garden.
