Description

Lilac Cottage is a Grade II listed cottage, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of plastered cob on a rubble footing, with rubble stacks topped by 19th and 20th-century brick. The cottage features a thatched roof and has a two-room plan, facing south. It is two storeys high with nearly symmetrical front elevation that includes two windows. The windows are 19th-century sashes, with nine panes on the ground floor and twelve panes on the first floor. There is a central door that is sheltered by a 20th-century porch, which has plain timber posts and a hipped thatched roof. The interior has not been inspected.
