Description

Prospect Place is a row of red brick terrace houses, likely dating from around 1805. Originally possibly two pairs of houses, they are now joined. The buildings are two storeys high with attics, and feature three windows each. Number 4 has an additional storey. The facades have cornices to the parapets, and dormers with louvred shutters. Good Doric porches are present, each with a rectangular fanlight incorporating diagonal glazing bars. The entrances are marked by four-panel doors set within panelled reveals. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The roofs are slate. Numbers 183 to 191 (odd) form a notable group.
