Description
The buildings at 30 and 31 Fore Street date from the late 17th century and are timber-framed with a pebbledashed exterior. They are three storeys high and each has two windows. The ground floor of both buildings features late 19th-century canted bays with slated pentices above a central pair of doors. The windows above are tripartite sashes, with glazing bars on the second floor. A cornice is present, and the roof is not visible. Number 31 retains an original spiral staircase. The listed buildings along Fore Street form a notable group.
