Description
Digby House is a house that was formerly used for the Medical Officer of Digby Hospital, built between 1882 and 1886 by architect R Stark Williamson. The building is constructed of red brick with red brick terracotta dressings and features a slate roof. It stands two storeys high with attics and includes a three-storey tower, forming an 'L' shape in its layout. The garden front showcases a semi-octagonal two-storey bay on the right, a recessed single bay in the center, and a two-bay gable. The windows are sashes, with plate glass in the lower sashes and glazing bar divisions in the upper sashes. The building also features a Dutch gable adorned with terracotta dressings, and the tower is topped with a bell profile roof.
