Description

This pair of tomb chests, located 3 metres east of the Church of St Swithun, dates from the early 19th century. They are made of stone and feature panels on the sides and ends, with moulded corners, a plinth, and a slab. The memorial inscriptions are badly weathered, but the northern tomb chest commemorates Richard White, who died in 1828, among others.
