Description

The Salter tomb chest, located half a metre east of the nave of the Parish Church in Clyst St Mary, dates from the 18th century and commemorates Carol Salter, who died in 1773, along with others. It is made of stone and features two depressed panels on each side and one at each end. The design includes an unmoulded slab and plinth.
