One of the former lodges to Winslade Park (q.v.). Mid C19. Dressed Heavitree stone; slate roof, the central block hipped, the wings gabled-ended. Central block of rooms heated by axial stack with brick shaft, and 4 lower wings forming a cross- shaped plan. Single storey. Pilaster quoins to all angles, battered at base, with capitals. Overhanging eaves, the gable ends of the wings with exposed rafters, the gable walls projecting to the same plane as the quoins; 2-light casement windows (the casements C20) to most faces; main doorway (west) with chamfered stone surround.
