Description

Horseshoe Cottage is a pair of cottages located on Church Street in Uplyme. They date from around the 18th century, with possibly earlier elements. The cottages are constructed from plastered cob and feature a hipped corrugated iron roof, which is higher on Horseshoe Cottage. The buildings are two storeys tall and have two window ranges, with small sash windows that include glazing bars. There are modern glazed doors and porches, as well as rendered ridge and end chimney stacks. The cottages are included in the listing for their group value.
