Description

Osmore Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around the 16th century, constructed from plastered stone rubble. It features a thatched roof with gabled and hipped ends and stands two storeys high. The façade includes a range of four windows, which are three-light casements with glazing bars. There is a doorway located to the side of a large external chimney stack at the center of the front, which has set offs. A rebuilt brick chimney stack is present over the west gable. To the left of the front, there is a later lean-to, and at the rear, a semi-circular staircase projection features a chamfered single light window and a three-light chamfered mullion window on the side.

Inside, the farmhouse has jointed cruck trusses and a cross passage with a plank and muntin screen. There are open fireplaces with chamfered bressummers and jambs, as well as stopped chamfer ceiling beams. The stair tower on the rear wall contains newel stairs.
