Description

This headstone, dated 1730, is located approximately 500 millimetres south of the aisle of the Church of St James. It commemorates John Sanne and is made of volcanic trap. The headstone is a square-headed upright slab, standing around 500 millimetres high. The front features an inscription in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, recording the death of John Sanne in 1730.
