Description

The Sanders tomb chest, located 12.5 metres south of the Church of St Swithun, is a tomb chest dedicated to William Sanders, who died in 1843. It is made of stone and features fielded panels on each side and at each end. The corners are adorned with half-detached shafts that have cushion capitals. The tomb chest is set on a moulded plinth and topped with a slab.
