Description

Laurel Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 16th century. It is constructed of plastered stone rubble and features a thatched roof with half-hipped ends. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, with small one, three, and four-light casements that have leaded panes. There is a plank door located to the left of the centre. The cottage has rendered ridge and end chimney stacks. Inside, there are three jointed cruck trusses, a cambered fireplace bressummer, and stopped and chamfered ceiling beams.
