Description
Yew Tree House is a cottage dating from around the 16th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and rendered cob, topped with a new tile roof that features gabled and half-hipped ends. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with 20th-century three-light casements that include glazing bars. To the right of the façade is a plank door, which is sheltered by a wooden lattice porch. The cottage has been fitted with rebuilt brick end and ridge chimney stacks. Inside, the structure features jointed cruck trusses that show signs of smoke-blackening, along with an open fireplace that has a cambered bressummer.
