Description

Lyme House is an early 19th-century house situated on the south-west side of Lyme Road in Axminster. The house is rendered with an ashlar plinth and has a hipped slate roof. It is arranged with three bays, and incorporates two-storey, segmentally bowed bays to the left and right. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, with tripartite sashes on the ground floor. A central wide porch features Tuscan columns that support a broken pediment, panelled double doors, a large traceried semi-circular fanlight, and panelled reveals.
