Description

Rose Cottage is an 18th-century roughcast cottage located on the east side of South Street in Axminster. It features a steeply pitched corrugated iron roof with a heavy modillion eaves cornice. The cottage is two storeys high and consists of three bays. It has 19th-century sash windows set in moulded casings. The central doorway is plain and includes a glazed and panelled door. There is a roughcast chimney stack at the gable end.
