Description
Hey Hop House is an early 19th-century house built of yellow stock brick. It features a slate roof with coped gable ends behind a parapet, which has plain stone coping. The building is two storeys high and has three bays, with the two left-hand bays slightly recessed. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, including left and right three-light sashes set in segmental bows with keyblocks in the lintels. The wide central doorway is framed by a porch with Tuscan columns that support an entablature featuring a broken pediment with a dentil cornice and a semi-circular traceried fanlight. The entrance has panelled double doors and panelled reveals. To the left, there is a doorcase with panelled pilasters, an entablature, and a segmental arched carriageway. Brick chimney stacks are positioned over the gable ends.
