Description

This is a row of 18th-century (or possibly earlier) cob cottages, located on Bridge Street in Sidbury. The cottages, originally Nos. 1 to 9, are now partially combined as one house (Nos. 1 and 2). They feature thatched roofs, with the eaves and ridge lines following the irregular ground level. Brick chimneys are present. The windows are 19th-century wood casements, some of which have been replaced. The doors are plain cottage doors. An outhouse with a rounded corner is situated at the east end of the row. The cottages and outhouse form a notable group.
