Description
Rivulet Terrace, located on Fore Street in Sidbury, consists of Nos 4 and 5, also known as White Jays. This building, possibly originally one house, dates from the early 19th century and is two storeys high with a rough cast exterior and a gable end slate roof. The front is symmetrical with three windows. The first floor features outer two-light casements and a central single light, all with slightly camber-headed designs and thin wood frames with small panes. On the ground floor, there are camber-headed sashes, one of which retains its intact glazing bars and small panes. A joint-centred porch supported by thin chamfered columns has lattice sides and a tent roof. The recessed doors consist of four flush panels, with two glazed panels in No 4. Above the doors are narrow rectangular blind fanlights with a diamond pattern. Nos 1 to 5 Rivulet Terrace form a group with No 49 Bridge Street.
