Description

Home Farmhouse is a circa 16th-century farmhouse constructed of stone rubble. It has a tiled roof with stone coping to the gable ends. The house is one storey high with an attic, and originally had a four-window range. A gabled wing to the left creates an L-shaped plan. Modern casements are visible, alongside three flat-roofed dormers set into the eaves. A four-light stone mullion window with ovolo moulding and a dripmould is located on the right-hand side of the ground floor. The central doorway is accessed via a modern concrete porch. Brick chimney stacks rise from the ridge and ends of the building. A similar stone mullion window is present at the rear.

Inside, a single jointed cruck truss is visible, along with chamfered ceiling beams. A staircase with a dog-leg design and turned balusters, dating to the 18th century, is also present.
