Description

Hakes is a cottage dating from the 18th or 19th century, constructed from white-washed stone rubble and positioned at right angles to the road. It features a thatched roof with half hipped and gabled ends and stands two storeys tall. The cottage has a four-window range, with two and three light casements that include glazing bars. There is an off-centre doorway topped with a thatched hood. A rebuilt brick chimney stack is located over the gable end facing the road.
