Description
This is a late 18th- or early 19th-century corner building, originally comprising numbers 42 and 43 The Strand. The building has a roughcast rendered facade featuring an eaves band and a blocking course. It rises to three storeys and has three windows on the front elevation. The windows are sash windows, with the top floor windows containing glazing bars. A porch with fluted Ionic columns, a modillion cornice, and a plain rectangular fanlight above the door is located on the ground floor. The north-west facade also has three windows; the ground floor outer windows are each set within a decorative cornice, and all the windows are sash windows, with the top floor windows having glazing bars.
