Description

This is a late 18th/early 19th century building on the south-west side of The Strand. It has a stucco facade, designed to resemble stonework with grooved detailing. The roof is slate-covered. The building is three stories high, with two windows on each floor. The windows are sash windows with late 19th-century glazing. A 19th-century shop front has been altered, but retains ionic pilasters on either side of the doorway, along with panelled reveals. Both the shop doorway and a centrally recessed doorway feature plain, rectangular fanlights.
