Description

44 The Strand is a building dating from around 1800. It has a plastered front and stands two storeys high with an attic. The facade features three windows, with a fourth bay added later on the south side. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and the ground floor windows are round-headed. There is a panelled door with a rectangular light above it, set within a Roman Doric porch. At the back, there are four flat-topped dormers behind a parapet, and the roof is tiled. This building is part of a group of listed buildings along The Strand.
