Description

This is a farmhouse, dating to around the 17th century, with significant alterations and extensions made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of plastered stone rubble, with a hipped thatched roof. The main block is two storeys high and three bays wide, featuring sash windows with glazing bars. A central panelled and glazed door is sheltered by a thatched porch supported by chamfered stone piers; a similar porch is located at the rear. Brick chimney stacks rise from the ends of the building. A hipped roof wing extends to the rear, incorporating a two-storey splayed bay with sash windows featuring glazing bars. A rear outshut has a thatched catslide roof. Inside, the interior retains a stopped chamfer ceiling beam and a fireplace bressummer.
