Description

Nos 9 and 10 Louisa Terrace comprise a pair of buildings dating from the 1830s and 1840s. They feature colourwashed roughcast facades with a moulded eaves cornice and blocking course, and have a slate roof. The buildings are three storeys high, with basements and attic dormers. Each property has two windows, with sash windows, many of which have been restored or replaced, including those at No 10 during a 1976 survey. No 9 has mainly late 19th-century additions, including louvred shutters. Side porches in the Doric style are present on both properties. The front door of No 9 is panelled with six panels, the top four of which are glazed. No 10 features a rectangular fanlight with tracery above its door, and has a recessed side wing of three windows.
