Description
Balls Farmhouse is a house dating from around the 16th century, built with plastered rubble and designed in an L-shaped plan. It features a tiled roof with hipped and gabled ends and stands two storeys high. The facade includes a three-window range with three-light casements. There is a stone rubble porch with a thatched roof located off centre, and the house has end chimney stacks. To the left, there is a gabled wing with a slate roof, while to the right, a single-storey cob wing with a thatched roof completes the L-shaped layout.
Inside, the farmhouse showcases a jointed cruck truss, along with stopped chamfered ceiling beams and fireplace bressummers.
