Description
Diamond House is a house with shop premises, dating from the early 19th century. It features a distinctive chequered pattern of ashlar and knapped flint, with rusticated quoins. The building has a slate roof with gabled ends and stringcourses at the cill levels. It stands three storeys tall and has three bays, with the centre bay being blind. The second floor has sash windows with rusticated jambs and keyblocks above flat arches, and there is a central diamond-shaped panel between the windows. Below, on the first floor, there is a similar blind window opening flanked by splayed bay windows. The late 19th-century shopfront is pilastered and has a modern fascia.
