Description
The ice house, located 250 metres east of Combe House, is likely from the 18th century and constructed of brick. It features a vertical shaft that was very overgrown at the time of the survey in 1988. The ground in front of the shaft indicates that there may have been steps leading down to it. This ice house is one of several notable garden features of various dates associated with Combe House. The gardens at Combe are listed as Grade II on the Register of Parks and Gardens of special historic interest in England.
